As of our 2026-08-21 check the listing we tracked returns “currently unavailable”, and no Air-X driver — men’s, women’s, any flex — is listed there in its place. We have removed the buy link from this page rather than send you to a dead product. The lightweight, draw-biased slot in our driver roundup now belongs to the Wilson DYNAPWR Max Women’s Driver Lite, which is what we would buy for the same swing.
What the Air-X driver was
A lightweight, offset, draw-biased driver from Cobra’s Air-X family — the listing we tracked was the women’s, ladies-flex build. The whole design philosophy was “light and straight”: Cobra built the head, shaft and grip light so a slower swing could move the club faster, then added an offset hosel and concentrated weight in the heel to promote a draw and counteract a slice. Those were Cobra’s published design aims, not measurements we took; how we score clubs is set out in how we rank. For a genuinely slow swing that leaked right — a huge share of golfers — it was an honest, effective club, and that is why it held the anti-slice slot here for as long as it did.
Which Air-X clubs are still available
The driver is the part of the line that has gone. Cobra still lists the Air-X 2 irons and the women’s Air-X 2 hybrid, along with Air-X 2 fairway woods and complete sets, so if what you actually wanted was the lightweight, offset, draw-biased feel through the rest of the bag, that is still buyable. It is only the standalone driver that is not.
What to buy instead
If you came here for a light, easy-to-launch driver that straightens a slice on a slow swing, the Wilson DYNAPWR Max Lite is the closest current equivalent: a ladies-flex build on a 40-gram shaft, and a head Wilson publishes as draw-biased with high MOI and a low center of gravity. It corrects differently — internal weighting rather than a visible offset hosel — so it is a replacement, not the same club. If the budget is the constraint instead, the offset Pinemeadow PGX does the same job for a fraction of the money. And if your slow swing is straight rather than slicing, you want launch, not draw bias: the neutral 13° Wilson Dynapower is the pick there.
